Morgan Bass

Morgan recently qualified from the University of Glasgow. Originally from the United States, she began working with livestock on mixed grazing farms over her summer breaks while growing up. After completing her undergraduate course, she earned a master’s degree in ruminant nutrition from the University of Georgia in 2016. While working with beef stocker operations in the southeastern US, she was inspired to continue her studies to become a farm animal veterinary surgeon. Morgan enjoys all aspects of farm practice, but is keen to utilize her cattle nutrition background along with previous small ruminant experience. She also has a particular interest in camelids and is looking forward to seeing a variety of patients.

Outside of work, she can be found on the roller derby track with Rainy City Roller Derby, or exploring nearby villages on walks with her two beagle mixes.
